FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY PANAMA CITY SUMMER STEM CAMPS
Florida State University Panama City STEM Institute’s Summer STEM Camps are open to rising 8th through 12th graders interested in STEM education and careers. The camps are each one week long Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and are held at Florida State University Panama City’s Holley Academic Center. Applications may be found at the FSU STEM Institute website at steminstitute.org. The camps are free, however, transportation and lunches are not provided. For more details click here.
FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY PANAMA CITY SUMMER SCUBA LAB
The Advanced Science Diving Program at Florida State University Panama City is offering a Summer SCUBA Lab for high school students. The two week basic SCUBA certification and marine science course will take place June 17-21 and June 24-28 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and will be taught by FSU Panama City Faculty. To qualify, student must be 15 years old by May 31, 2013 and be able to pass a swim test.
