FSU Panama City community,
I want to take a moment to extend a heartfelt congratulations to our graduating Class of 2020. Although this isn’t how any of us imagined celebrating, we want you to know that we value each and every one of you and your achievements. Many of you started your academic journey with Hurricane Michael and are concluding it during a pandemic, which speaks volumes to your hard work, dedication and perseverance. To honor your accomplishments, we will have a virtual graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 3, with plans for an in-person celebration where students will walk the stage in the future.
To our current students, we remain committed to upholding our FSU PC Promise to help you achieve your academic goals and provide the tools necessary to finish the semester. As our highest priority remains the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff, FSU Panama City will continue to deliver classes remotely during Summer Session C, which runs June 22 through July 31, 2020. Summer registration is open, and our advisors are available to help you navigate the semester ahead. Financial aid and scholarships are also available. Please contact our financial aid office for any questions at (850) 770-2177 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our students can still apply for financial assistance through the Student Emergency Relief Fund at fla.st/2XlNzUw. If you have any questions about FSU Panama City programs or COVID-19 response, please call the 24/7 FSU PC Promise Information number (850) 770-2411.
We will all get through this semester together. We are your partners. As always, I encourage you to email or call me with any questions or concerns.
